Tony began his career as the Alumni Coordinator at Stepping Stone Center of Recovery in 2019. But his journey really started in 2016, when Tony found himself in the grips of addiction and went into treatment at Stepping Stone Center of Recovery. After receiving the message of hope and a strong recovery foundation, he began helping others by earning his Graduate’s Certificate in Addiction and Recovery from the University of Florida’s College of Medicine. As his passion for helping others with addiction grew Tony continued this journey by relocating to Jacksonville, FL. Tony uses his certification in substance use disorders, experiences of over 5 years in recovery, and the mental focus he learned, in his previous career as a PGA golf professional, to help patients in recovery coaching groups. Tony is a Certified Recovery Coach and holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Mercyhurst University.
