Because of Valentine’s Day, February is a time when people’s thoughts turn to love. Lakeview Health is urging their alumni and others in recovery to reflect on the reasons they love their life in sobriety. They are asking people to share their stories of hope and encouragement with others who are struggling with drug and alcohol addiction by posting them to social media with the hashtag #LoveYourRecovery. Participation will include those actively in the Lakeview Health addiction treatment program and alumni. However, anyone in recovery from drugs and alcohol addiction can get involved. Here’s how:

“Sharing experiences in recovery has long been a part of the 12-Step tradition,“ explains Ami Brantley, Recovery Coach at Lakeview Health. “Everyone in recovery has an incredible story to tell, and we want to encourage people to share their courageous journeys to sobriety and let others know all the things they love about their recovery.” About Lakeview Health akeview Health in Jacksonville is a leading provider of drug and alcohol rehabilitation services in Northeast Florida and a nationally recognized addiction treatment center serving clients from across the country. Since it was founded in 2001, it has helped countless individuals and families begin their journey of recovery.
