Last week our Recovery Coaches hosted an open chat to talk about how individuals can manage their addiction recovery and navigate the holidays. We recorded the session so anyone who was unable to call in would still have access to the advice and tips from Nick Goslin, the Star of Lakeview Alumni Coordinator and Recovery Coach, and Karen Zaccour, Stepping Stone Center for Recovery Alumni Coordinator and Recovery Coach. Some of the key areas that Nick and Karen covered during the open chat include:

  • Healthy boundaries
  • Accountability
  • Expectations
  • Relationship triggers
  • Alternative Fellowshipping
  • Creating a plan for holiday parties

As Recovery Coaches and individuals in addiction recovery, Nick and Karen provided what has worked for them and how to set yourself up for success this holiday season. Click on the video below to listen to the open chat.

We invite you to stay connected with our Alumni team on Facebook — connect with Nick, Karen, and Ami.
