Hi! My name is Tiffany Greenfield and I’m a fitness instructor at Lakeview Health. While there are many exercises out there to choose from, below is a breakdown of my top five!

#1. Close Grip Push Up

Pushups can be the most effective chest exercise and there are so many variations. One of my all-time favorite exercises is the close grip push up. This variation focuses on the inner pectorals, shoulders, and triceps.

#2. Renegade Row

The renegade row is a great upper body and core strengthening exercise. It is a multijoint exercise that increases strength in your back shoulders biceps and triceps while engaging your core.

#3. Banded Pull-up

Pull-ups are one of the best bodyweight exercises. This a multi joint exercise to strengthen you back shoulders and arms. If you’re first starting out and find it difficult to perform this exercise, using a pull-up band will give you the support that you need.

#4. Rope Slam

This is one of my favorite cardio exercises. It can be considered fun to some people. This exercise will allow you to get your cardio training and engaging your core muscles.

#5. Bosu Ball Lunge

This exercise is performed with one foot on an exercise ball. The exercise primarily works the quad, glutes, and hamstrings. This could be considered an intermediate exercise that also incorporates balance.
