Lakeview Health Yoga & Recovery Instructor

Kelly Frotten has experience teaching all levels of yoga – from barre to restorative, from beginners to advanced practitioners – and she brings a wealth of knowledge and wisdom to our patients at Lakeview Health. In this interview, Kelly talks about how no two patients have the same experience with yoga. While most of the patients are asking for a way to relax (as they get their work out on primarily in the wellness center), some are looking to deeper their yoga knowledge and practice. Kelly emphasizes the simplest and most effective strategy she offers to patients seeking relief – the present moment. Coming into the present moment, by focusing on the breath, allows patients to let go of the past, let go of the future, and be open to the now. After that, it just takes practice! Yoga is important training for the mind, body and spirit. Watch the video below to find out more!
