Mention “Intervention” and most people will reference a commonly known reality-based TV show on A&E. Like most things, drama sells, and addiction is no different. For those who have experienced a real and true Intervention, there often is substantial pre-planning and discussion with the family before the event takes place. Surprisingly, some Interventions involve the addict or alcoholic. Learning about interventions and determining if your loved one, friend, or colleague needs an intervention takes time and research. Finding the right person to connect with the family to orchestrate a loving and compassionate intervention doesn’t happen in 30 minutes.  You’re invited to hear more about the right steps to take in getting your loved one to treatment. Click below to listen to Kevin and Gina talk about how to do an intervention during this WSOS Radio show.
